Bruins’ Bergeron is diagnosed with concussion

Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli has confirmed that Patrice Bergeron suffered a moderate concussion Tuesday night. Bergeron was injured when he collided with Ottawa’s Colin Greening during a second-period puck race. Greening’s right elbow hit Bergeron behind the left ear. Bergeron’s neck is sore, Chiarelli said.

Chiarelli spoke with Bergeron on Wednesday.
