Celtics’ summer plans tied to Paul Pierce’s future

Charlotte fired coach Mike Dunlap after one season, meaning the Bobcats' next coach will be their third in three years. The Bobcats could carve out some cap space for next season, but don't expect many long-term deals with the free agent class of 2014 coming up. Here is a look at what kind of situation and flexibility the new coach might be inheriting, assuming Ben Gordon picks up his sizable player option.
