Golf notes from New England and the tours

Richy Werenski and his younger brother, Mickey, won the Massachusetts Four-Ball Championship for the first time Wednesday, shooting a final-round 65 at Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk for a two-stroke victory.

They are the first brother team to win the event since 2006, when Steven and Peter Alminas shared the title, one year after winning it outright. Andy and Bill Drohen also won in 2004.
