The Chargers agreed to a two-year deal Saturday with aging pass rusher Dwight Freeney that could be worth $13.35 million. The deal to bring Freeney to San Diego came four days after outside linebacker Melvin Ingram tore the ACL in his left knee in a padless practice. Freeney is 33 and entering his 12th season. He will make $5.25 million this season. He is Indianapolis’s career sacks leader with 107½ but the Colts decided not to re-sign him. After recording 13½ sacks in 2009, the seven-time Pro Bowler’s totals declined each of the past three years.
