The Bruins blitzed the Penguins with a 6-1 victory in Game 2 of the East finals to take a 2-0 series lead with them back to Boston.
Brad Marchand scored just 28 seconds into the game to open the scoring for the Bruins.
Nathan Horton (18) earned congratulations from teammates after scoring to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead in the first period.
While the Bruins' offense was stellar, goaltender Tuukka Rask stopped 26 of the 27 shots he saw from the Penguins.
The Penguins pulled goaltender Tomas Vokoun, left, for Marc-Andre Fleury after the Bruins made the score 3-0 in the first period.
Fleury had little success, however, and gave up this goal to Marchand before the end of the first period.
Fleury gave up two more goals, including this one to Johnny Boychuk in the game's final 2 minutes.
With the victory, the Bruins have now outscored opponents 29-11 since they began their comeback from a 4-1 deficit in Game 7 of the first round against Toronto.
