Loui Eriksson key piece to trade for Bruins

The Bruins completed a deal that sends Tyler Seguin, Rich Peverly and a minor leaguer Ryan Button to the Dallas Stars for Loui Eriksson, Joe Morrow, Reilly Smith, and Matt Fraser, the team announced Thursday afternoon.

Eriksson, an assistant captain for the Stars, is a 27-year-old left winger who has spent all seven of his NHL seasons in Dallas. Drafted in the second round (33d overall) by Dallas in 2003, the Gothenburg, Sweden native has 150 goals and 207 assists in 501 career games.
