Sunday Football Notes

How much could Patriots have known about Hernandez?

Coming off the second-greatest rushing season in NFL history, the Vikings' Adrian Peterson has set his sights on an unthinkable number: 2,500 yards, almost 400 more than Eric Dickerson's longstanding record. To do that in 2013, Peterson would have to average 156.2 yards over 16 games. Peterson is one of just 10 players to average at least 125 yards per game in a season, and only O.J. Simpson has come within 10 yards of averaging 150.
