Rare feat for Presidents’ Trophy winner

As the best team in the regular season, the Blackhawks won their first Presidents’ Trophy in more than 20 years.

Despite their Stanley Cup title, the award hasn’t been helpful to other recent Presidents’ Trophy winners in the playoffs. Even getting to the Cup Final has proven difficult.
