Here is your guide to joining the Patriots for training camp.
The Patriots hold training camp at their practice facility next to Gillette Stadium. Most practices, which begin July 26, are open to the public, and there are numerous other options away from the practice field.
Key to facilities at Patriots training camp as noted in map above:
1 - P8 entrance: Use if approaching from the south.
2 - P6 entrance: Use if approaching from the north.
3 - Retail parking (noted in yellow across the map)
4 - Patriots Place South: Shops including Staples and Bass Pro Shops.
5 - Public parking
6 - Patriots Place North: Shops and restaurants.
7 - Pedestrian walkways: Marked in brown, they provide access from parking lots to the practice fields.
8 - Practice fields: Where the team will work out when not using the field inside the stadium.
9 - Bleachers, concessions: Bleachers will provide seating for 3,000 fans, with room for an additional 2,000 on the hillside. Each day, selected players will sign autographs for fans.
10 - Patriots Fan Zone: Football-themed activities, face painting, and appearances by Patriots cheerleaders.
11 - Information: The stadium ticket booth will serve as an information booth during camp.
12 - Hall at Patriots Place: The team’s interactive Hall of Fame museum where fans can take a peek under the hood of an instant replay machine or kick field goal in game-like conditions.
13 - Pro shop: Open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Training camp details:
- Practices are open to the public on the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium.
- The practice schedule throughout training camp is tentative and subject to change. Fans planning to attend practice are encouraged to check Patriots.com for daily updates or call the training camp hotline at (508) 549-0001.
- Parking and admission are free.
Practice times: Schedules for training camp sessions are announced as they become available. Check the Patriots’ web site for the latest updates.
Rain policy: When the Patriots are forced to practice indoors due to inclement weather or poor field conditions, practices will be closed to the public. Fans should visit Patriots.com or call the training camp hotline at 508-549-0001 prior to every practice for up-to-the minute changes in the daily practice schedule.
Concessions: Popcorn, hamburgers, sausages, hot dogs, pizza, frozen lemonade, ice cream and cold beverages will be available for purchase at training camp. Stands will be positioned at various locations, including Patriots Experience and the practice fields.
Prohibited items: Video Cameras; any alcoholic beverages; weapons of any kind (including knives); illegal drugs or any other illegal substance; coolers; fireworks or pyrotechnics; animals, except service animals assisting those with disabilities; noise makers; bullhorns and air horns; helium balloons; beach balls; laser pens; any other item deemed inappropriate by stadium management; flags will be allowed (no more than 2 feet in length).
Directions to Patriots training camp:
From Boston and farther north: Take I-95 South to Exit 9. Follow Rte. 1 south approximately 3 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the left).
From Cape Cod: I-495 North to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).
From southern Connecticut, Rhode Island: Take I-95 North to I-495 North to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).
From northern Connecticut, Vermont, upstate New York: I-90 East to I-495 South to Exit 14A. Follow Rte. 1 north about 4 miles to Gillette Stadium (on the right).
