Players to watch in girls’ soccer

Caitlin Harty, Beverly — As a junior, Harty led the state with 50 goals, and added 12 assists to surpass her coach’s school record for a season.

Shannon Fitzgerald, Newton North — The senior striker has skill to match her speed, scoring a Bay State Conference-best 2.4 goals per game last year.

Kayla Steeves, Needham — Steeves, a center midfielder, was one of just two sophomores to earn Division 1 all-state and Eastern Mass. first-team honors last season.

Hannah Rosenblatt, Lincoln-Sudbury — The junior has been a varsity starter since her freshman year. She led the Warriors to an average of 3.3 goals per game last year.

Maddie Jolin, Bishop Feehan — The junior forward scored 15 goals and dished 11 assists last year, leading the Shamrocks to a 14-2-2 regular-season record.
