Victims of the Marathon bombings who lost limbs were honored on the field before the game, and a moment of silence was held for those who died in the attacks.
The Patriots hosted the Jets for their home opener at Gillette Stadium.

The officiating crew sorted out the penalties after the scrum. The Jets' D’Brickashaw Ferguson and Willie Colon were ejected.
Patriots head coach Bill Belichick screamed at referee Undrey Wash.
The Patriots managed to hold on and take a 13-10 win over the Jets.
