Yankees trio winding down with big legacy

Tim Sharp/REUTERS

Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter (above, left to right) and Andy Pettitte have played a combined 56 seasons, 53 with the Yankees, since coming up together in 1995, winning five World Series and 13 division titles.

Whenever they are done — Rivera is retiring after this season while Jeter and Pettitte remain undecided — they will leave a legacy among the best of all time to play for the Yankees.
