The Red Sox have clinched the American League East division title with their 94th win tonight at Fenway Park before a sellout crowd of 37,215.

Jon Lester earned his 15th win and Koji Uehara his 20th save, recording five outs to get the job done.

The Red Sox broke open a 2-1 game with three runs in the seventh inning on an RBI single by David Ortiz and a two-run RBI by Mike Carp.

In the ninth inning, the crowd began chanting “Koji! Koji!” after two outs were recorded and then “Let’s go Red Sox!” with Brett Lawrie up and Jose Reyes on base. He struck out, sending the players flurrying out of the dugout to greet Uehara, who raced toward Jarrod Saltalamacchia and jumped into his arms.

The players dawned their American league East divisions shirts as they celebrated near the mound.
