Everett’s Isaiah Davis makes a name right away

DANVERS — Isaiah Davis had been waiting for this moment since June, when he started working out with his new teammates in the weight room. The running back transferred to Everett from Lynn English after his junior year, but didn’t receive an MIAA waiver to play in games until last week.

Davis worked hard as he waited for a decision. The dedication paid off. Davis ran for two touchdowns in fifth-ranked Everett’s 35-14 win over No. 3 St. John’s Prep (2-2) on Saturday at Cronin Stadium.
