FOXBOROUGH — The Patriots have declared running back Stevan Ridley (knee) out for Sunday’s game against Cincinnati — the first game Ridley will miss in his career. He did not practice this week, so he even before Friday, he was not expected to play.
Wide receiver/special teamer Matthew Slater (wrist), who returned to practice Friday for the first time since breaking his left wrist against the Jets in Week 2, is listed as doubtful.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm) and wide receiver Danny Amendola (groin) lead a list of 10 Patriots who are listed as questionable; wide receivers Kenbrell Thompkins (shoulder) and Aaron Dobson (neck) are also among that group.
Cornerback Kyle Arrington (groin) and offensive lineman Will Svitek (knee) are listed as probable. Defensive back Nate Ebner (ankle) was removed from the report.
For the Bengals, cornerbacks Leon Hall (hamstring) and Brandon Ghee (thigh), as well as guard Mike Pollak (knee), are doubtful. Defensive end Michael Johnson (concussion) and a third corner, Dre Kirkpatrick (hamstring), are questionable.
