ISL football roundup: Milton Academy now 7-0

The offensive numbers may have been off, but the result was the same for Milton Academy on Friday. Another win.

The Mustangs improved to 7-0 with a 24-14 win over visiting Middlesex. Milton Academy remains the only unbeaten ISL school heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

Drew Jacobs got things started with a 43-yard, first-quarter TD run. Jacobs was hurt on the run but his replacement, Luke Macdonald, stepped in and ran for 188 yards on 23 carries and a TD of his own in the second quarter.

Ahead at halftime, 21-0, the Mustangs, who had been averaging 38.5 points per game, had just a 46-yard Justin Yoon field goal in the second half. George Morris had two TD runs for Middlesex.
