NBA roundup: Timberwolves tee off on Lakers

Ricky Rubio had 12 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

Kevin Martin scored 27 points, Kevin Love had 18 of his 25 points during Minnesota’s 47-point first quarter, and the Timberwolves snapped a 22-game losing streak against the Lakers with a 113-90 victory Sunday night in Los Angeles.

Ricky Rubio had 12 points, 14 assists, and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who took a 28-point lead during the highest-scoring quarter in franchise history and maintained a healthy advantage all night.

Spurs 120, Knicks 89 — Danny Green had 24 points and a career-high 10 rebounds as San Antonio pounded host New York for its fourth straight victory.

Thunder 106, Bullets 105 — Kevin Durant scored 33 points, hitting a tying 3 late in regulation and the go-ahead foul shots in overtime to send Oklahoma City past host Washington.

Suns 101, Pelicans 94 — Eric Bledsoe scored 24 points and Markieff Morris added 23 for host Phoenix.
