Boston to host Frozen Four in 2015

Boston will host the Division 1 men’s college hockey Frozen Four in 2015, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

The 2015 Frozen Four will be played at TD Garden and Hockey East will be the host conference. It will be the seventh time it has been held in Boston. The last was in 2004.

Providence’s Dunkin Donuts Center will host the East Regional in 2015 and the Verizon Center at the University of New Hampshire in Manchester, N.H., will host the Northeast Regional.

In 2016, Worcester’s DCU Center will be host of the Northeast Regional.

Also announced as future sites of the Frozen Four were Tampa (2016), Chicago (2017), and St. Paul, Minn. (2018).

This year’s Frozen Four will held held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, April 10 and 12.
