Devin McCourty, Josh Boyce miss practice — almost

Neither the Patriots nor the Bills practiced Wednesday because of the Christmas holiday, but both teams issued a practice participation report based on the assumption of what it would have looked like.

Safety Devin McCourty was listed as “did not participate,” out with a concussion. Josh Boyce (ankle) also was DNP.

New to the players listed under limited participation was running back Shane Vereen, who suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s win over Baltimore. And Steve Gregory, who had been on the injury report last week with a finger injury, was listed with a knee injury.
