Tom Brady missing at start of Patriots practice

FOXBOROUGH -- Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was not spotted at Wednesday’s practice during the portion open to the media.

He wasn’t the only player missing. Long snapper Danny Aiken was also not spotted.

Brady, who normally speaks with reporters on Wednesday, had his weekly availability moved to Friday this week.

Coach Bill Belichick declined to address Brady’s status at his afternoon news conference.

Meanwhile, Patriots punter Ryan Allen, who suffered a shoulder injury against the Colts last week, was at practice.

Receiver Aaron Dobson also returned to practice after missing last week’s AFC Divisional playoff game with a foot injury. He had been seen walking in a boot last week.
