Expert predicts A-Rod will swing, miss on appeal

The Cubs made news this month—no, they’re not any closer to winning anything—by introducing the franchise’s first mascot. Clark (named for a cross street at Wrigley Field) is a young bear in a Cubs jersey, wearing his cap backward. That leaves only three teams —the Yankees, Dodgers, and Angels—without mascots. The Yankees tried a mascot in 1979—Dandy—but cut him two years later. The others:
