Catching up on hot topics with David Ross

Rangers lefthander Derek Holland tore cartilage in his left knee during a fall at his home in January and won’t be ready to go until midseason. Blame for the fall belongs to Holland’s boxer, Wrigley, who tripped up Holland as they were playing on the stairs. He’s not the first to suffer a fluky offseason or spring training injury.
