Rest of AL East will have to deal with the Orioles

In an offseason in which free agent signings stalled because of draft-pick compensation, the Orioles have tossed a late changeup. By signing righthander Ubaldo Jimenez and outfielder Nelson Cruz after trading for righthander Bud Norris last season, they forfeited the 17th, 35th, and 55th choices in the 2014 draft.
