Right wing Reilly Smith scored 19 goals this season.

Reilly Smith has won NESN’s Seventh Player Award. The award goes to the player who most exceeded expectations during the season.

Smith has 19 goals and 30 assists for 49 points, fifth-most on the team. The right wing started the season on the No. 3 line with Carl Soderberg and Chris Kelly. But Smith replaced Loui Eriksson as the No. 2 right wing alongside Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron because of his smarts and offensive creativity.

The Bruins acquired Smith from Dallas as part of the Tyler Seguin trade on July 4, 2013. Smith will be a restricted free agent at year’s end. Smith is due to at least double his current salary.
