White Sox honor Marathon anniversary

The White Sox made their own tribute to the anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings before hosting the Red Sox Tuesday night.

The White Sox donned t-shirts with a prominent “B Strong logo” during warmups. Under the logo was their own logo so that the t-shirts effectively said “B Strong, Sox together.”

On the video board the White Sox played a tribute that honored the survivors, victims, and first responders of the Marathon attacks.

“Chicago is Boston strong,” the video board read at the conclusion of the video.

The teams then observed a moment of silence before the national anthem was played with both teams lining the baselines. The White Sox wore their “B Strong” t-shirts during the anthem.
