Fans greeted Chara with an Easter-themed sign as he skated by before the game.

Reilly Smith pounced on the puck and tapped it over the line for another goal for the Bruins.
The Red Wings’ Luke Glendening sent the puck past Tuukka Rask in the second period.
Milan Lucic scored the Bruins’ third goal of the game.
Niklas Kronwall was upended by a hit from Reilly Smith.
Brendan Smith got a smile out of Chara as he challenged the Bruins captain near the blue line as a scrum was going on at the same time in the corner.
Chara pushed his glove into the Red Wings defenseman as if swatting away a fly.
A fan took a picture of Johnny Boychuk along the glass.
Andrej Meszaros sailed over the back of Tomas Tatar in third-period action.
Boychuk sent Justin Abdelkader to the ice with a hard hit.
Fans cheered as a man in costume stood and spread his arms while being shown on the scoreboard. He was named the “Fan of the Game” by the crowd’s acclaim.
The Bruins took a 4-1 win over the Red Wings and evened their Eastern Conference quarterfinals series at a game apiece.
