Jeff Bauman, Carlos Arredondo, and Erin Hurley walked onto the field during a pregame tribute to those involved in last year's Boston Marathon.
The ceremony Sunday included police officers, medical professionals, victims of the bombings, runners, and volunteers.
Jake Peavy reacted on the mound as Nelson Cruz rounded the bases after hitting a home run.
Cruz pointed to the sky after his homer in the first inning.
Peavy delivered a pitch against the Orioles in first-inning action.
Brock Holt knocked the ball down to get the out on Chris Davis (not pictured).
Jonny Gomes (left) and Grady Sizemore fielded a double.
Red Sox manager John Farrell took out Peavy in the sixth inning.
Orioles pitching coach Dave Wallace (center) spoke with Ubaldo Jimenez (right) and Matt Wieters.
Gomes pumped his fist after hitting a three-run homer in the sixth.
Jimenez watched the video replay as Gomes rounded third base.
Gomes was greeted at home plate by Mike Napoli and David Ortiz.
Holt slid into second base as Ryan Flaherty dropped the ball.
Daniel Nava reacted after striking out with the bases loaded.
Sizemore slid into home plate on a bases-loaded fielder's choice and throwing error by Orioles third baseman Jonathan Schoop.
A pitch hit Napoli on his left knee in the ninth inning.
Dustin Pedroia doubled high of the wall, just missing his first home run of the season.
He then scored the winning run on a two-out error. The Red Sox came back from a five-run deficit to take a 6-5 victory over the Orioles.
