Stat of the Day: Koji Uehara allowed 36 hits over 79⅓ innings in his first 78 regular-season games for the Red Sox. Since complaining of shoulder pain on April 12, Uehara has appeared in six games and allowed seven hits (two of them home runs) over 5⅔ innings.
Reddick returns: Josh Reddick, who played for the Red Sox from 2009-11, has hit .288/.350/.538 with seven extra-base hits and 14 RBIs in 15 games against his old team since being traded to Oakland. In five games at Fenway, Reddick is 8 for 21 with three doubles, a homer and seven RBIs.
