Liverpool-Roma tickets on sale next week

Liverpool and Roma previously played at Fenway Park in the summer of 2012.

Tickets for the Liverpool FC-AS Roma soccer match at Fenway Park will go on sale Friday, May 16, at 10 a.m.

The game is at 7:30 p.m. on July 23.


Tickets will range from $30 to $120, and will be available on the Red Sox’ website, Liverpool’s website, or by calling (877) 733-7699. Fans with disabilities can call the same number to purchase accessible seating. The Red Sox’ TTY number for hearing-impaired fans is (617) 226-6644.

Liverpool FC, of the English Premier League, is owned by John Henry, who is also the principal owner of the Globe and the Red Sox.

AS Roma competes in Italy’s Serie A. The club also has Boston ties, as owner James Pallotta is a shareholder of the Celtics.

Fenway Park seating will be divided into three sections for the soccer game: neutral, Roma, and Liverpool.

The clubs also faced each other at Fenway Park in 2012 before a sold-out crowd of more than 37,000.
