Stat of the Day: The Sox scored double-digit runs for the first time on Friday night. They had 20 double-digit games a year ago.

Notes: The Red Sox have won three of their past four games and seven straight at Fenway and sit eight games behind the first-place Blue Jays in the AL East … Jake Peavy has given up nine runs and 16 hits over his past two starts, both on the road. Although he’s still winless at Fenway (0-2), his 4.23 ERA at home is dramatically better than his 5.40 ERA away from it. This will be the first time Peavy’s faced the Indians at Fenway … House, a 24-year-old lefty, is making his first career start against the Red Sox and his first start at Fenway … The Sox are 13-10 against lefthanded starters … The Red Sox are 12 for 34 with runners in scoring position over their past four games … After putting up his second straight multi-hit game Friday night, Daniel Nava has now hit safely in six of his past seven starts and is 11 for 26 since being recalled from Triple A Pawtucket on June 2 … Mike Napoli is hitting .381 in six games since coming off the disabled list … After taking a day off on Thursday, Xander Bogaerts hit his sixth home run of the season … Jackie Bradley Jr. is hitting .313 in his past five games after going 2 for 4 on Friday.
