Stat of the Day: The Sox are 8-15 in one-run games this season. They were 21-20 a year ago.

Notes: The Sox had their seven-game home winning streak snapped on Saturday, but still sit eight games behind first-place Toronto in the AL East after the Blue Jay’s 3-2 loss in Baltimore Saturday night … Workman, who had never faced the Indians before this season, will make his second start against them in the past two weeks. He went five innings against them on June 4, giving up three runs in a 7-4 loss … Kluber went 4-0 in May with a 2.09 ERA, but in his two starts this month, he’s given up 10 runs (seven earned), including four to Boston … The Sox are hitting .265 at home as opposed to .229 on the road … The Sox are 7-1 in their last eight home games, allowing 14 runs over that stretch. They haven’t given up more than three runs in their past eight games at Fenway .. Brock Holt has had multiple hits in five of his past eight games and has reached base in 21 of the 23 starts he’s made as the leadoff hitter … Mike Napoli is hitting .374 in seven games since returning from the DL … Stephen Drew felt good after going through batting practice at full speed on Saturday and is in the lineup today ... Pan-Mass Challenge cyclist and cancer survivor Jack Manning, 16, and his father, Vincent will throw out the first pitch today. They are from Norfolk.

Song of the Day: “Cherry Wine,” by Nas feat. Amy Winehouse.
