■ According to Ad Age, there are about 12 new advertisers for Super Bowl XLIX. Ad Age is keeping a running chart of each confirmed advertiser. So far, Anheuser-Busch has purchased seven 30-second ad spots (210 seconds), down from last year’s 240 seconds. ■ The NFL began using Roman numerals with Super Bowl V. The league applied Roman numerals to prevent confusion between the calendar year of the regular season and when the Super Bowl is played.
