Video: Tom Brady denies Deflategate involvement at January press conference

Before the Patriots’ first Super Bowl practice on Jan. 22, Brady held a press conference in which he denied having knowledge of footballs being intentionally deflated.

In a press conference more than a week before the Super Bowl, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said he was not responsible for the underinflated footballs the team was discovered to have used in the AFC Championship game vs. the Colts.

“I didn’t alter the ball in any way,” an uncharacteristically flustered Brady said in the press conference at Gillette Stadium. “I have no knowledge of any wrongdoing. I’m very comfortable saying that.”
