Season Ticket, a new sports podcast from the Boston Globe and WBUR, will debut on Monday afternoon.
Hosted by award-winning Globe sports columnist Christopher L. Gasper, Season Ticket will feature conversations, insider information, and unfiltered opinion on the Boston sports scene and beyond. A new podcast will be released each weekday afternoon on Apple Podcasts and other podcast apps.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Boston Globe sports department on this podcast,” said Iris Adler, executive director for programming and podcasts at WBUR. “I am confident that combining our podcast production know-how with the expertise and deep knowledge of the Globe sports department will make for a distinctive daily sports podcast.”
A changing roster of guests, from Boston sports figures to Globe experts such as sports editor Joe Sullivan and columnist Dan Shaughnessy, will join Gasper to discuss interesting topics and the latest Boston sports story lines.
“We believe this will be a must-listen for Boston sports fans as we have in-depth conversations about the teams they are so passionate about,” Sullivan said.
