Roundup: Two hat tricks power UNH past Denver

Third-ranked New Hampshire brought its offense out West, scoring four goals in the third period Saturday night to defeat No. 2 Denver, 6-4. The Wildcats tied No. 14 Colorado College, 4-4, Friday night.

Grayson Downing completed his hat trick for UNH (9-1-2) with a goal at 1:19 of the third, pulling the Wildcats to within 4-3. Then Kevin Doumas went off for the visitors from Hockey East, scoring at 13:24, 16:40, and 19:37 (into an empty net).
