For the second straight game, second-ranked Everett dominated on defense, allowing just 132 yards of offense, in a 28-7 win over BC High Saturday at Viola Stadium. The Tide, which improved to 6-1, had six sacks, five against Eagles’ quarterback Brandon Craven, which forced him to leave the game twice.
“All year we’ve been working on our pass rushing moves with coach [John] Capra,” said senior defensive end Omar Graciano, who had three sacks. “We had their offense down, had a hard week of practice, and just brought it at the game. The defensive intensity has picked up. It’s just been great.”
