Lincoln-Sudbury over Acton-Boxboro — The Warriors will sprint past A-B at speeds not seen since Orville (7-1) took a spin above Sudbury during Monday’s hurricane.

Burlington over Stoneham — This pick makes sense. The Santa’s Village at the Burlington Mall this week doesn’t. Santa before Halloween?

Wareham over Dighton-Rehoboth — The next microburst will have a name: Darien Fernandez.

New Hampton 51, Proctor 49 — I actually have no idea who will win, but if any two teams in New England are going to combine for 100 points this fall, it will be these two Evergreen offensive powers.

Dorchester over Burke — Given what the mayor did for Cathedral last fall, I certainly hope the Bears get the same treatment and then some for a season that will end at Gillette Stadium.

Last week: 5-2. Season: 30-17.
