A former basketball star for both Xaverian Brothers and Walpole, the senior guard scored 10 of his team’s last 12 points as undefeated Wheaton (3-0) rallied from behind to defeat Mount Ida, 83-66, in the Nov. 18 championship game of the Wheaton Tip-Off Tournament.

Untouchable in her last 12 events, the junior Bentley swimmer claimed first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:15.74 and first in the 500 freestyle (5:26.56) to propel her team to a 135-70 triumph over Merrimack Nov. 19.

BROCKTON

The rookie kicker for 10-1 Framingham State earned MASCAC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after averaging 45.9 yards per kickoff and converting 6 of 7 extra point attempts in a 48-14 win over Curry College in the New England Bowl.
