CHICAGO – Patriots running back Sony Michel was carted to the locker room after a knee injury during Sunday’s game against the Bears and was ruled out by the team. The Patriots initially announced his return was questionable, then ruled him out during halftime.
Michel twisted his left knee as he went down on a tackle by Bears defensive tackle Bilal Nichols. The left knee is the same one Michel has had issues with since his college days at Georgia. Michel, who fumbled on the play, went with trainers to the blue pop-up medical tent, then was carted to the locker room.
