An orphanage in Port-au-Prince was destroyed, leaving a group of 60 orphans without a place to live. For a year and a half, they lived in primitive conditions, at first in tents, and then in flimsy plywood structures next to a house covered with a tarp. They had no running water, no electricity, and little in the way of schooling. May 1, 2012.
