Waiter at popular South End restaurant missing

Friends seek public’s help in finding him

Bill McCarthy, a long-time waiter at the popular South End restaurant Giacomo’s, is missing.

McCarthy was last seen early Sunday morning outside the Columbus Avenue eatery, waiting for a cab.

Colleagues and friends became concerned about his whereabouts when McCarthy did not show up for his scheduled Monday evening shift.

Anyone with information is asked to call Boston Police Detective Andy Gambon at 617-343-4683.
