Jumping the rails: inside slopestyle

In slopestyle skiing and snowboarding, riders navigate a course with rails, jumps, and and other obstacles. Six judges assess how each rider handles the rails and performs a series of three jumps for the highest possible score of 100 points. US favorite Shaun White jammed his left wrist on a takeoff ramp during training and later dropped out of the event.
