BIG unveiling party Thursday

The community’s local-access television and multimedia organization is holding a launch party to celebrate its rebranding as Brookline Interactive Group. Formerly known as Brookline Access Television, the private, nonprofit operation made the change to emphasize its wide range of media services and educational offerings, according to an announcement on its website. The free launch party Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. will include tours of the BIG facility, on the top floor at 46 Tappan St., a raffle featuring GoPro video-editing software, and opportunities for residents to become involved in its activities.
