Massachusetts on Friday reported 1,512 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 12 new confirmed coronavirus deaths. The state also reported 17,065 vaccinations, including booster shots, had been administered, the Department of Public Health said.

The state also reported that 541 patients with COVID-19 were in the hospital.

As of July 2021, the state Department of Public Health releases coronavirus case, death, and hospitalization data each weekday and no longer releases data on weekends.
