The 2020 MLS season resumed Wednesday night with an all-Florida showdown in Group A of the MLS is Back tournament, and Orlando City rallied past Inter Miami, 2-1, behind a big night by Nani.

The Designated Player scored in the 97th minute, delivering with an opportunistic finish after a cross fell to him from 10 yards out.

That capped a come-from-behind effort after former Revolution forward Juan Agudelo put Miami up with a close-in strike in the 47th minute. Agudelo tapped home a low cross from Victor Ulloa.

That’s when Nani got to work.

First he helped get the equalizer in the 70th minute, when his cross from the left flank was directed in by Chris Mueller.

A scary moment arose in the 51st minute when Miami center back Andres Reyes went down after a clash with Orlando striker Dom Dwyer. Reyes was taken off on a stretcher.
