Thursday’s Red Sox summer camp report: Nate Eovaldi pitches four scoreless innings

SCORE: Home Red Sox 4, Away Red Sox 0 (5½ innings)

BREAKDOWN: At a weirdly quiet Fenway Park, the home team scored four runs in the fifth inning against Brandon Workman, three on a home run to right field by John Andreoli, a non-roster outfielder from Worcester. Nate Eovaldi went four scoreless innings, allowing one hit with one walk and four strikeouts. He threw 34 of 58 pitches for strikes. Jonathan Lucroy had two hits and played some first base. Non-roster righthander Chris Mazza pitched two solid innings.

UP NEXT: The Sox are planning another intrasquad game for Friday at noon. Martin Perez is scheduled to pitch.
