When T riders eat, they’re not wearing masks — that’s a problem

A commuter waited for an Orange Line train at the MBTA State Station on March 26.Craig F. Walker/Globe Staff/The Boston Globe

The MBTA is great at running public health announcements but not so great at enforcing them. Twice during the first weekend of the month, I saw people eating and drinking on the Orange Line trains. It’s impossible to wear masks while eating and drinking.

On the T, public health and safety are obviously not on the menu.
