EMass boys’ hockey: Burlington’s Jack Jay headlines Players of the Week

Top performances from EMass boys’ hockey players in the past week:

Nick Fasano, Braintree: The sophomore made a sterling varsity debut, notching a hat trick and adding an assist as the Wamps rolled past Newton North, 8-0.

Brad Guden King Philip: The freshman jumped right into Hockomock play, combining for three goals and two assists in a pair of wins against Mansfield.

Jack Jay, Burlington: The senior captain sparked a sweep of Middlesex Freedom foe Wilmington, scoring twice in a 4-2 win last Wednesday, then adding a hat trick and assist in Saturday’s 5-3 victory.

James Marshall, BC High: The freshman forward netted his first two varsity goals, as the Eagles rolled over Catholic Memorial, 7-1.


James Tatro, Triton: The senior notched a hat trick as the Vikings took down Lynnfield, 6-2.

Ben Young, Hanover: Young finished with a clean sheet in his first varsity start, earning the shutout for the Hawks in an 8-0 victory over Plymouth South. Max DaSilva and Robbie Hanna scored twice each in the win.
