Might we now see some of that Benghazi-probe-like fervor from Republicans?

Eight years ago, two US government facilities were assaulted in Benghazi, Libya. In that siege, four people were killed.

The Republican Party was convinced that those attacks were due to lapses in the State Department, and Republicans insisted on many investigations to find fault with the secretary of state at the time, Hillary Clinton, and the Obama administration.

Is there any hope that the assault last week on the Capitol, the seat of our democracy, will be investigated by members of the GOP with the same intensity?
