They’re back: Boston-area restaurants are reopening

Warmer weather is on the way, and restaurants are coming out of hibernation.

Many restaurants are returning after a dark, cold winter. Here are some of the latest to re-open, or set a date to start serving food again. Be sure to confirm hours and availability directly with restaurants, however, because schedules are subject to change.

Ban Mi Ok

The Vietnamese spot reopened on March 23, offering ban mi sandwiches, rice bowls, egg rolls, milk tea, and more again. 44 School St., Boston

Bar Mezzana

The South End Italian restaurant will offer indoor dining, patio, takeout, and delivery starting April 1. 360 Harrison Ave., Boston

The raw bar and brasserie reopens on April 1 for indoor dining, patio dining, takeout, and delivery. 571 Tremont St., Boston

Bistro du Midi

The French restaurant overlooking the Public Garden re-opens on Wednesday, March 17, with a renovated first floor and the moules frites you know and love, from chef Robert Sisca. 272 Boylston St., Boston

City Bar

The Lenox Hotel bar and restaurant once again serves steak, seafood, and stiff drinks Thursday through Saturday evenings. 65 Exeter St., Boston

Coppersmith

The Southie standby reopens on Thursday, March 11. Visit Wednesday through Sunday, with patio and rooftop lounge dining coming in April. 40 W. 3rd St., Boston

Cunard Tavern

Visit daily for indoor dining, takeout, and delivery; their Top Deck roof deck opens on April 1, overlooking East Boston. 24 Orleans St., East Boston

Dig

The Harvard Square location debuted the day before the pandemic hit; they’re back again, hopefully this time for good. 82 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge

Puritan & Co.

Will Gilson’s restaurant outside of Inman Square has returned for takeout and delivery Wednesday through Sunday. 1166 Cambridge St., Cambridge

Slurp bivalves in Fort Point (indoors or al fresco) beginning on April 1. 383 Congress St., Boston

Shojo

Head to Chinatown for fries slathered with mapo tofu and kimchi fried rice starting on April 1, either inside or on the patio. 9A Tyler St., Boston

The South End tiki parlor (and sister establishment No Relation) pour once more starting May 1. 11 William E. Mullins Way, Boston

Sullivan’s

The beloved Castle Island ice cream and seafood shack is now open for business, celebrating its 70th year. 2080 William J. Day Blvd., Boston

Taberna de Haro

The atmospheric Brookline tapas parlor has reopened at 50 percent capacity; visit for paella and sherry from 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. 999 Beacon St., Brookline

Tambo 22

The Peruvian restaurant in Chelsea from Jose Duarte (Taranta) plans to reopen on Thursday, April 1 — not joking. 22 Adams St., Chelsea

Trina’s Starlite Lounge

The lovable snack shack in Inman Square aims to relaunch for patio dining, takeout, and delivery on March 19. 3 Beacon St., Somerville
